✅ Great Immersion – Smoke effects, crawl spaces, and atmospheric design made us feel like we were aboard the sinking Titanic.

Long Review (For Escape Room Enthusiasts)
Arrival & First Impressions
After having such a blast playing Escapable’s Outatime room, it was only a matter of time before we set sail for their Titanic experience. Once again, Mike was our Games Master, welcoming us warmly and ensuring we felt at ease before heading off for the final room checks. His enthusiasm and attention to detail made for a smooth start to our mission.
Before we even stepped into the escape room, Mike took the time to chat with us for about 10 minutes, discussing our past escape room experiences and setting the stage for the adventure ahead. It was a great way to get into the right mindset before diving in.
Gameplay & Puzzles
Before entering, a short video briefing sets the scene, outlining your mission and immersing you in the story before you step into the Captain’s Office. First impressions? The set design is simple but fitting—after all, there’s only so much you can do to dress up an office.
The gameplay had a great flow, offering clear direction on where to begin, and the puzzles were well-structured, making for an engaging experience. There was plenty to keep a duo busy for over 50 minutes, and although we hit a few icebergs along the way, Mike was on hand to give us just the right nudge to keep the momentum going.
We encountered a couple of puzzle styles we hadn’t seen before, which added to the excitement. Each challenge felt perfectly suited to the theme, and the sense of progression was rewarding as we edged closer to our escape. Some puzzles were beginning to show their age, but Mike assured us that Titanic is the venue’s oldest room and is due for a well-deserved facelift—so if you’re planning a visit, expect an even better experience soon.
Adding to the immersion were smoke effects and crawl spaces, helping us feel as though we were truly aboard the doomed ship. I’ll admit, dark spaces aren’t my favorite—when visibility drops, so does my ability to spot obvious clues (which definitely happened here). That said, the atmosphere was on point, and Mike expertly stepped in when he knew we had missed something crucial.
Games Master & Hints
We made steady progress until the 40-minute mark, where we hit a roadblock. Knowing how much time we had left, Mike gave us space to problem-solve before offering a well-timed hint to steer us back on course. His ability to run the game seamlessly while staying in character was top-notch.
After our escape, we had the chance to go back into the room, where Mike invited us to ask any lingering questions about the puzzles which is a great touch. He then took our team photo before spending another 15 minutes post-game chatting with us and offering recommendations on where to play next. His passion for escape rooms is obvious, and his enthusiasm makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Final Thoughts
Titanic is a fun, well-paced room with a solid sense of progression, strong immersion, and a clear objective. The puzzles strike a good balance of challenge and entertainment, ensuring an engaging experience from start to finish. While some elements of the decor and puzzles are beginning to show their age, with a refresh on the horizon, this room is only going to get better.
If you’re looking for an escape room that lets you relive the drama of the Titanic (minus the icy waters), this is one voyage worth embarking on!
